Going by Morocco has been a fantasy of me for whatever length of time that I can recall. I've for the longest time been itching to ride a camel, see the abandon, investigate labyrinth like medinas, and drink tea with Berbers.he medinas are the notable hearts of every city in Morocco: part local location, part mall, part nourishment showcase. Here you'll discover wandering aimlessly boulevards where shops, eateries, markets, and homes all line the avenues in structures apparently excessively near one another and excessively old, making it impossible to remain up any longer. As somebody who loves to get lost, the medinas were paradise. I invested hours meandering through them, making right turns, backtracking, strolling through courts and roads that sort of looked well-known, and finding my route, just to get intentionally lost once more. They were a labyrinth I adored endeavoring to settle while likewise drinking tea, eating delectable and fragrant nourishment, and seeing the sights.

That was it — the end of our tumultuous long distance relationship.
I hung up the phone that night, and sobbed myself to sleep.
We had met four years prior through mutual friends. There was undeniable chemistry present, but the timing just wasn’t right.
It’s funny how some things come full circle.
Fast forward four years.
We saw each other out at a bar on Christmas. I had harbored a boyish crush for her since we’d met. She was wildly beautiful, sexy and had this fun, exuberant energy about her.
I offered to drive her home that night. We sat in the car and talked for over an hour outside her moms house.
Before we parted ways, I suggested we hang out again before she goes back to Texas, where she now lived.
I don’t think she expected me to follow up, but I texted her a few days later and asked her out.
She agreed.
Our first real date was this completely unexpected magical experience (I wrote about it in another post).
I will remember that night the rest of my life, and the way She made me feel.
So we said fuck it, and before long started dating.
